Our Commitment to Accessibility

At Fairy Glen Day Care Centre, we are dedicated to meeting the accessibility needs of individuals with disabilities. Notice of Temporary Service Disruptions

In the event of planned or unexpected service disruptions, we will promptly inform all employees and families.  Notices will be posted on our website, detailing the reason for the disruption, its expected duration, and any available alternative services.

Accessible Spaces

We are committed to creating accessible and barrier-free environments at all our locations.  We regularly incorporate accessibility criteria and make ongoing improvements based on feedback and updated legislation.

Accessible Customer Service

Fairy Glen is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming experience for all.  Our team members, including employees, board members, and placement students—receive specific training on AODA standards and the Ontario Human Rights Code to ensure we deliver accessible services.

Service Animals and Support Persons

Individuals with disabilities who require the assistance of service animals or support persons are always welcome at Fairy Glen locations.

Assistive Devices

People with disabilities are encouraged to use their personal assistive devices when accessing our services at any of our locations.

Alternative Formats

We understand that individuals with disabilities may need information in formats other than standard print.  We are committed to providing accessible and alternative formats such as audio, large text, and accessible PDFs.
