Play Based Learning

An emergent style curriculum is a play-based program focusing on the children’s interest and passions.  Children thrive and learn best when their interests are captured.

Fairy Glen offers the children variety of experiences at their developmental levels.  We use observation, documentation, creative brainstorming, and flexibility to create an inclusive environment for children to learn and explore.  The educators at FGDC expand on the children’s natural curiosity about the world around them and learn through new experiences.  We strive to establish positive, responsive relationships with the children and their families.
